Open Access

The first four issues of the JPA are now open access. We are trialling a move to a delayed open access publishing model, in which there will be a 2 or 3 year moving wall beyond which articles become free to access for non-subscribers. In the past we have made editorials, letters and commentaries open access and have found that the readership figures for these are considerably higher (often 10x or more) than subscription restricted articles. Having a moving wall will open up research published in the JPA to a much wider audience, whilst maintaining the financial viability of the Journal.
